Economy

The Embassy in New Delhi represents the economic interests of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg in India, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh and regularly participates in conferences and trade fairs in the region.

The Embassy’s Trade and Economic unit informs local investors and business partners of the many opportunities that exist in Luxembourg from the financial center to the different economic sectors, including Steel, Automotive and Smart mobility, Finance, Cleantech, Health technologies, ICT, Logistics, Manufacturing, Maritime and Space.

It also advises Luxembourgish companies that want to enter the Indian, Nepalese, Bangladeshi and Sri Lankan markets and continues to lend its support to those that are working there.

The Embassy relies on its strong network of Honorary Consuls in Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Bengaluru, Kathmandu, Colombo and Dhaka in its work to strengthen the economic and trade relations between our countries.

The Trade and Economic unit remains at your disposal, should you have any specific queries about the above. You can contact us at  Newdelhi.Amb@mae.etat.lu  and visit the website of  Luxembourg Trade & Invest  for more information.
