LHoFT, LFF participate at the Global FinTech Fest 2024, Mumbai
From 28- 29 August, Luxembourg House of Financial Technology (LHoFT) and Luxembourg for Finance (LFF) participated in the 5th edition of the Global Fintech Fest (GFF) that was held in Mumbai. GFF is an annual fintech event organized with the support of the Government of India, including the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Electronics and IT.
On 29 August, the CEO of LHoFT, Mr. Nasir Zubairi, addressed a panel session on “The Role of Digital Financial Services in Driving Financial Inclusion: Global Perspectives”, highlighting the growing FinTech landscape in Luxembourg and India and how both sides can deepen their cooperation in this field.
During a panel session on “Global trends in Fintech: Innovation and Ecosystem Growth” on the same day, Mr. Mattia Musetti, Business Development Adviser at Luxembourg for Finance gave an overview of Luxembourg’s and Europe’s strong financial and fintech ecosystem and shared insights in areas like payment services, open banking, blockchain and other current trends.
During the 2-day participation at the Global Fintech Fest, LHoFT and LFF also held meetings with a number of key stakeholders from the Indian financial sector and visited the exhibition booths of various Fintech companies present at the conference.
