As one of the world’s leading financial centers, with its innovative steel industry and media/ICT sector, among the leaders in Space/Satellites and home to many companies specialized in the automotive or the logistics sectors, Luxembourg is the perfect multilingual business location you might be looking for.

Nestled between France, Belgium and Germany in the heart of Europe, it has been involved in the great European developments. The turbulent past of the Grand Duchy is a true mirror of European history. During the Middle Ages, 3 counts of the Luxembourg dynasty wore the crown of the Holy Roman Empire. In Early Modern Times, its fortress was a major bone of contention in the battle between the great powers. Today, Luxembourg-City’s old town and fortress is a UNESCO World Heritage site. You may also be tempted by sunny vineyards and renowned wines and be surprised by an original and fine cuisine.

On 20 September 2018, Ambassador Jean Claude Kugener presented his Letter of Credence to the President of the Republic of India Ram Nath Kovind at Rashtrapati Bhavan. Prior to his appointment as the 5th Ambassador of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg to India, Mr Kugener served as Deputy Head of Mission in London (2014-2018), in Moscow (2010-2014) and in Berlin (2005-2010). From 2000 to 2005, he held various positions at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs in Luxembourg.
