Luxembourgish Jazz Band Jerome Klein enthralls the Indian audience during its India tour

 The Musicians met the Ambassador and members of the Luxembourg Embassy in New Delhi on 30 November 2018.

  

   In Kolkata, the Honorary Consul of Luxembourg and Mrs Rajat Dalmia, offered the musicians a warm welcome before their concert at the Jazz Festival

 

 

The Jazz band from Luxembourg  Jerome Klein  enthralled the Indian audience from 30 November to 2 December 2018 in the cities of Delhi, Kolkata and Goa.

This tour was part of the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Luxembourg and India. 

The group performed at the Jazz Club ‘The Piano Man’ in New Delhi on November 30, at the ‘Kolkata Jazz Festival 2018’ in Kolkata on December 1 and at The Park, Calangute in Goa on December 2. Himself on the keyboard, Jerome Klein was accompanied by Pol Belardi on the vibraphone, Niels Engels on the drums and Charles Stoltz as the group’s sound engineer.

Before their concert at the "Piano Man" in New Delhi, the Musicians met the Ambassador and members of the Luxembourg Embassy in New Delhi. In Kolkata, the Honorary Consul of Luxembourg and Mrs Rajat Dalmia, offered the musicians a warm welcome before their concert at the Jazz Festival, where 9 groups from 7 different countries participated.

Organised in close collaboration with Gatecrash and the Luxembourg music promotion agency MusicLX, with the support of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, the Embassy of Luxembourg in New Delhi and the Luxembourg Consulate in Kolkata, the tour of Jerome Klein has been a real success and has brought the Jazz from Luxembourg and electronic genre closer to new fans in Delhi, Kolkata and Goa.
