Luxembourg's budget surplus grew to 1.6% in 2015

Luxembourg recorded the largest government budget surplus in the EU at 1.6% of GDP last year, up from 1.5% in 2014. Across the EU as a whole, the government deficit to GDP ratio fell from 2.6% to 2.1% in 2015.
