Luxembourg rated no. 1 in eurozone in financial centres ranking
Luxembourg has risen five places in the latest biannual Global Financial Centres Index to 14th worldwide, making it the leading centre within the eurozone, second in the EU behind London (the global leader) and third in Europe. In the latest ranking New York remains second, ahead of Singapore, which has pushed Hong Kong down to fourth. As in previous reports, Luxembourg is seen as the sole European financial centre whose influence is capable of growing in the future.
