Luxembourg government invests €25m in Planetary Resources venture
The government is investing €25m in US-based space technology firm Planetary Resources through a direct equity investment of €12m for a minority shareholding by public investment institution SNCI and €13m in grants. Planetary Resources says the funding will speed up technical developments with the target of launching its first commercial asteroid prospecting mission by 2020.
