Luxembourg eurozone's top financial centre, second in EU
Luxembourg is the eurozone's leading financial centre and second in the EU after London, according to the latest Global Financial Center Index compiled by consultancy Z/Yen. The country now ranks 12th in the world, up from 14th in the previous index assessment six months ago. The rankings are based on a global industry survey and an assessment of factors including business environment, human capital, taxation, reputation, infrastructure and financial sector development.
