Luxembourg Film “Schatzritter” screened at 16th International Children’s Film Festival in Kolkata
An adventurous children film from Luxembourg named ‘Schatzritter’, directed by Luxembourg film maker Laura Schroeder is presently being screened at the 16th International Children’s Film Festival from July to September 2016 in Kolkata and other districts of West Bengal in collaboration with Cine Central Calcutta (www.cinecentralcalcutta.org ), UNICEF (United Nations Children’s Fund), Nandan (West Bengal Film Centre) and various NGO’s and social bodies.
The festival was inaugurated by the Hon'ble Governor of West Bengal, H.E. Shri Keshari Nath Tripathi. The film “Schatzritter” (Treasure Knights) is the story of 11-year old Jeff who believes in the existence of the lost treasure of legendary Melusina and who, with the help of his 3 friends, tries to find it, against all obstacles…
The screening of the Luxembourg Film was well appreciated by the audience which was evident from their clapping. The Honorary Consul of Luxembourg in Kolkata, Mr Rajat Dalmia, also extended his support by inviting several principals and their students from schools in Kolkata. The hall was over packed by children and everybody liked the film.
