16th India–Belgium–Luxembourg Economic Union (BLEU) Joint Economic Commission held in New Delhi

The new Secretary General from the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, Ambassador Sylvie Lucas represented the Grand Duchy at the 16th Joint Economic Commission (JEC) with India which was held in Delhi at the Ministry of Commerce at Udyog Bhawan on 17 September 2019. 

Luxembourg hosted the last 15th JEC in 2017. During this bi-annual commission, all areas of cooperation are discussed and new opportunities identified. Among the many subjects discussed were Steel, Satellites, IT, FinTech, StartUp, Green Bonds, Masala Bonds, Green Stock Exchange, LGX, Automotive, Hard Materials, Engineering and Connectivity. 

During her visit, the Secretary General also held bilateral talks with the Secretary East, Mrs. Vijay Thakur Singh at the Ministry of External Affairs.
