Luxembourg ranked as leading financial center in the Eurozone

Luxembourg is ranked as the leading financial center in the Eurozone before Frankfurt, according to the latest Global Financial Centers Index (GFCI), a six-monthly rating of 82 financial centers across the globe.

In addition, the Grand-Duchy is ranked as the fourth leading Western European financial center after London, Zurich and Geneva. 
Luxembourg also remains among the ten global centers likely to become more significant in the next few years.
 
The GFCI survey rates financial centres on the basis of metrics such as business environment, financial sector development, infrastructure, human capital and reputation.
